Fitting Your Dog for a Pack

We make dog packs in four sizes. For the correct fit it is important that your dog be fully grown, usually nine months old for small dogs to two years with the giant breeds.

Your dog's Waist Measurement is taken around the body at a point about 2/3rds of the way back from the front to the hind legs. This is the area where the waist belt of the pack will rest. Please do not measure the narrowest part of the dog's body!

Once you have your dog's Waist Measurement, please refer to the following chart to find the correct size for your dog. Dimensions shown below are the measurements of one pannier. Volume is the total volume for the entire pack (both panniers).

Note: If your dog measures less than 22 inches at the waist, our packs will not fit correctly.
